Receiving Packages — Overview¶
The Receiving module lets you record packages as received in your warehouse. Customer Manager offers four different receiving methods to suit various workflows.
Receiving Methods¶

| Receive by Package | Scanning individual packages one at a time using a barcode scanner |
| Receive by Date | Receiving all packages expected on a specific ship date |
| Receive by Container | Receiving all packages that arrived in a specific container |
| Receive by Shipment | Receiving all packages associated with a specific shipment |
Getting Started¶
- Navigate to Packages > Receive Packages from the sidebar, or click the Receive Packages card on the Home Page.
- The selection screen displays all four methods as clickable cards.
- Click the card for your preferred receiving method.
Tip
Receive by Package is ideal when you have a barcode scanner connected and want to process packages one at a time with immediate feedback. The other methods are better suited for bulk receiving operations.
