Deliver Packages

The Deliver Packages page lets you record packages as delivered to a specific client. You must select a client before scanning packages for delivery.

How to Deliver Packages

Step 1: Select a Client

When you first open the page, you will be prompted to select a client:

  1. A Client Selector dialog appears automatically.
  2. Search for a client by Client ID or Name.
  3. Click on the client to select them.
  4. Confirm your selection.

The selected client's name and ID are displayed at the top of the page.

Step 2: Scan Packages

  1. Enter or scan a tracking number in the input field.
  2. Press ++enter++ or click the receive button.
  3. The package is recorded as delivered to the selected client.
  4. Repeat for all packages being delivered.

Delivery Log

Each delivered package appears in the log with:

Column Description
Time Timestamp of the delivery scan
Tracking Number The package tracking number
Carrier The shipping carrier

The log is sorted with the most recent deliveries at the top.

Changing the Client

To switch to a different client during a delivery session:

  • Click Change Client to open the client selector and pick a new client.
  • Click Clear Client to deselect the current client entirely.

Warning

You must have a client selected before scanning packages. If no client is selected, the system will prompt you to choose one.

Correcting Mistakes

If a package was delivered to the wrong client, use the Reverse Delivery feature to undo the delivery.
