Receive by Package¶

Receive by Package allows you to scan or enter individual tracking numbers to record packages as received. This method provides real-time feedback for each scan, making it ideal for use with a barcode scanner.

How to Receive Packages¶

1. Navigate to Receive Packages > Receive by Package.
2. Click into the Tracking Number input field (it is auto-focused).
3. Scan a barcode or type a tracking number.
4. Press ++enter++ or click Receive Package.
5. The system immediately processes the scan and displays feedback.
6. The input field clears and re-focuses automatically, ready for the next scan.

Scan Feedback¶

Each scan produces one of three results, displayed as a color-coded alert:

Status	Color	Meaning
Success	Green	Package was received successfully
Duplicate	Blue	Package was already received (shows when and by whom)
Exception	Orange	An error occurred while receiving the package

Statistics¶

The top of the page displays running totals:

• Total Scanned — Total number of scans in the current session
• Successfully Received — Packages received this session (green)
• Duplicates — Packages that were already received (blue)

Scanned Packages Log¶

Below the statistics, a table logs every scan with:

Column	Description
Status	Color-coded badge (Success, Duplicate, or Exception)
Tracking Number	The scanned tracking number
Message	Details about the result
Scanned At	Timestamp of the scan

Use the search box to filter within the scan log.
