Pricing Explorer¶
Pricing Explorer is the most complete way to find, price, and manage packages — it combines lookup, pricing, content edits, document viewing, and invoicing actions in a single screen.
Accessing Pricing Explorer¶
In the sidebar, click Pricing → Explorer.
Finding Packages¶
Four tabs control how you look packages up:
| Tab | Finds packages by… |
|---|---|
| By Date | A specific ship date |
| By Shipment | A specific shipment |
| By Container | A specific container |
| Individual (Scan) | One package at a time, by scanning or typing its tracking number — the same experience as Scan to Price |
For the Date, Shipment, and Container tabs, you can also narrow by Client. After choosing your criteria, click Load.
Reading the Results¶
Each row shows the tracking number, client/container, content, ship date, two independent status badges (logistics stage and priced/unpriced), the current price, a document count, and action buttons. A summary strip above the table shows totals for the loaded set: total packages, priced, unpriced, and how many have attached documents.
Pricing or Editing a Package¶
Click Price (or Edit, if it's already priced) on any row to open the details panel on the right:
- Price — enter or update the price and click Save.
- Package Content — override the content description, quantity, or weight as recorded for your customer account, independent of the tenant's own values. Leaving a field blank falls back to the original tenant value. Click Reset to clear your override and revert to the tenant's original.
- Documents — any attachments on the package are listed; click one to preview it (PDF and image files preview inline, other types open in a new tab).
Invoicing Actions¶
Once a package is priced, an additional action appears:
- 🧾 Add to Invoice — if the package hasn't been invoiced yet, opens a picker to add it to an existing open invoice for that client, or create a new one. See Creating & Managing Invoices.
- Invoiced badge — if it's already on an invoice, this links directly to that invoice instead.
Locked Packages¶
A package is locked from pricing changes (shown with a 🔒 Locked button instead of Price/Edit) when either:
- It's already been delivered, or
- It's a line item on an invoice that's already been marked Paid
In both cases, the price and content are frozen to protect the historical record.
I clicked a package's price link from an invoice — where did the tabs go?
When you arrive at Pricing Explorer via the edit price link on an invoice line item, the screen jumps straight to the Individual (Scan) tab for that package and hides the other tabs, since there's nothing else to browse in that flow. A Back to Invoice link takes you back where you came from.
